When the first generation Ford Mustang was introduced in the middle of 1964, the attractive pony car’s powerplant lineup served as a major selling point. Braking required to keep the momentum from the engine power under control received less attention with front disc brakes existing as a factory option. However, those driving a classic Mustang, the assurance and safety of a capable power brake unit can’t be overlooked.
