We can almost say "no assembly required" on this console. Or how about "very little assembly required." All that's needed to finish it off are the glove compartment lid, the trim plate for the shifter, wiring & ashtray light. Everything else is already there. Of course it is injection molded as original. It does have a correctly grained surface. the cigar light is concours correct as is its chrome mounting plate. In fact, this console is so exact, that original components can be installed without any fitment problems. It will work on both the '69 & '70 Mustang as is, but to be "concours correct" for 1970, you need to replace the glove compartment with the 1970 style which did not come with a cigar lighter.
